Macias

Dr. Beth Macias

Veterinarian

Dr. Beth Macias graduated from UW Madison School of Veterinary Medicine and has been practicing for 32 years. Dr. Macias prides herself in providing high quality medical care for the patients she sees.She also enjoys educating her clients about their pets health whether it’s wellness exams, preventing disease or treating their pets current medical issues. Dr. Macias also enjoys establishing and maintaing relationships with her clients.

In Dr. Macias’ free time she enjoys flower and vegetable gardening. She plays piano at her church. Dr. Macias likes to spend time outdoors, her and her husband enjoy going for walks and riding bikes.

Dr. Brent

Dr. Brent Nokes

Veterinarian

Dr. Nokes was born and raised in Wisconsin and graduated from UW-Madison-Veterinary College in 1998. He then moved across the country to Washington State where he practiced small animal medicine until recently moving back to Wisconsin to settle in and be closer to family. He enjoys all parts of small animal veterinary medicine but particularly takes an interest in surgery and ultrasound. Away from the practice, you will find Dr. Nokes enjoying the great outdoors — hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, gardening, and yard work.

Dr. Anne Stanton

Dr. Anne Stanton

Veterinarian

Dr. Stanton joined our clinic in 2025 as the newest full time DVM. Dr. Anne Stanton is a 2014 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a 2016 graduate of the Medical College of Wisconsin where she earned her Master’s Degree in Public Health. She enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, particularly internal medicine, has a strong interest in ultrasound, and has a special place in her heart for providing compassionate palliative and end-of-life care for senior/terminally ill pets. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Stanton enjoys spending time with her husband, 4 children and their variety of animals on their hobby farm.

Sarah Storandt

Practice Manager

Sarah joined the Progressive team in 2024 and has been enjoying learning everything she can about the veterinarian field. Previously, she has worked as zookeeper and brought her love for animals with her. When not at work, she enjoys spending time outdoors, baking, and gardening.

Joan has been in the practice for 38 years. She prides herself on providing a positive and welcoming experience for owners and their pets. In her free time, she enjoys taking random road trips, boating with her husband, gardening, and spending time with her granddaughters.

Marissa Mortimer

CVT

Rissa’s favorite part of working in a veterinary clinic is the time she gets a pet to finally eat that hasn’t eaten in a few days. She enjoys monitoring the pet for improvement throughout the day and takes pride by being able to send the happier pet home to its owners.

In her spare time, she enjoys swimming, grilling, and spending time with her husband and daughter.

Ginger LaCoste

Veterinary Assistant

Ginger has been practicing for one year. She takes pride in educating our clients as much as possible during each visit. Ginger listens to their questions and concerns and tries to get any questions answered before the appointment is over. It gives her great satisfaction to see happy clients and happy, healthy pets.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, going camping, and taking care of her 2 dogs and 6 cats.

Catie has been a veterinary assistant for 2.5 years and graduated from Globe University. She prides herself on the love and compassion she has for animals and that she contributes to a pet’s overall health and well-being.

Outside of work, Catie loves being with my family and close friends, working on various crafting projects, refurbishing old furniture, and reading as much as she can.
